COMMUNITIES IN CONTROL

Local people should make local decisions.  Communities are far better positioned to work together through sharing knowledge and empowering skills based outcomes that are culturally and locally appropriate.

Consistent with the commonly accepted principles of 'do no harm', this ethos is central to our programme planning and underpins our approach to programming such as capacity building and resourcing.

We see localism as intrinsic to sustainability - leading to responsible development in the wider community
